أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا نَافِعٌ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ کَانَ يَرْکُزُ الْحَرْبَةَ ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي إِلَيْهَا
سنن نسائی · Hadith 751
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar concerning the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم he said: “He used to set up a short spear then pray facing toward it.” (Sahih).
