عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللہِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : دَخَلَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِیُّ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمَسْجِدَ یَوْمَ الْجُمُعَۃِ وَعُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِیَ اللہُ عَنْہُ یَخْطُبُ، فَقَالَ : أَیَّۃُ سَاعَۃٍ ھَذِہِ؟ قَالَ : یَاأَمِیرَ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ ، انْقَلَبْتُ مِنَ السُّوقِ فَسَمِعْتُ النِّدَا ءَ فَمَا زِدْتُ عَلَی أَنْ تَوَضَّأْتُ ۔ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ رَضِیَ اللہُ عَنْہُ : وَالْوُضُوءَ أَیْضًا ، وَقَدْ عَلِمْتَ أَنَّ رَسُولُ اللہِ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ یَأْمُرُ بِالْغُسْلِ۔
مسند امام شافی · Hadith 414
Salem bin Abdul Allہ bin Omar, said: A man of the owners of the Prophet peace Allہ Alیہ entered the mosque on him Aljmaۃ and Omar bin Khattab Allہ Anہ sermon, he said: Oیۃ Saaۃ ھzہ? He said: Commander of the Faithful, I flipped from the market and heard the call, but I did not add more to my ablution۔ Umar (may God be pleased with him) said: And ablution also, and you knew that the Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, was a matter of peace.
