حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّی حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ الثَّقَفِيِّ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيدٍ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أُمِّهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ کَانَ يُنْبَذُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سِقَائٍ يُوکَأُ أَعْلَاهُ وَلَهُ عَزْلَائُ يُنْبَذُ غُدْوَةً فَيَشْرَبُهُ عِشَائً وَيُنْبَذُ عِشَائً فَيَشْرَبُهُ غُدْوَةً
سنن ابودوٗد · Hadith 3711
Aishah said: Dates were steeped for the Apostel of Allah ﷺ in skin which was tied up at the top and had a mouth. What was steeped in the morning he would drink in the evening and what was steeped in the evening he would drink in the morning.
