حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَی بْنُ إِسْمَعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَی عَنْ أَبِي کَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْخَمْرُ مِنْ هَاتَيْنِ الشَّجَرَتَيْنِ النَّخْلَةِ وَالْعِنَبَةِ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد اسْمُ أَبِي کَثِيرٍ الْغُبَرِيِّ يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غُفَيْلَةَ السَّحْمِيِّ وَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ أُذَيْنَةُ وَالصَّوَابُ غُفَيْلَةُ
سنن ابودوٗد · Hadith 3678
Abu Hurairah bin Bashir reported the Apostel of Allah ﷺas saying: Wine comes from these two trees, the date-palm and the grapes-vine. Abu Dawud said: The name of Abu KAthir al-Ubari is Yazid bin Abdur-Rahman bin Ghufailat al-Sahmi. Some said: Uzainah. What is correct is Ghufailah.
