حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ حَدَّثَنَا عَطَائُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَی عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَعْنِي لِرَجُلٍ حَلَّفَهُ احْلِفْ بِاللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ مَا لَهُ عِنْدَکَ شَيْئٌ يَعْنِي لِلْمُدَّعِي قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد أَبُو يَحْيَی اسْمُهُ زِيَادٌ کُوفِيٌّ ثِقَةٌ
سنن ابودوٗد · Hadith 3620
Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas: The Holy Prophet ﷺ said to a man whom he asked to take an oath: Swear by Allah except whom there is no god that you have nothing belonging to him, i. e. the plaintiff.
