سَمِعْتُ أَبَا ھُرَیْرَۃَ رَضِیَ اللہُ عَنْہُ ، یَقُولَ : صَلَّی بِنَا رَسُولُ اللہِ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلاۃَ الْعَصْرِ ، فَسَلَّمَ فِی رَکْعَتَیْنِ ، فَقَامَ ذُو الْیَدَیْنِ ، فَقَامَ: أَقَصُرَتِ الصَّلاۃُ أَمْ نَسِیتَ یَا رَسُولَ اللہِ ؟ فَأَقْبَلَ رَسُولُ اللہِ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ:(( أَصَدَقَ ذُو الْیَدَیْنِ))؟ فَقَالُوا: نَعَمْ۔ فَأَتَمَّ رَسُولُ اللہِ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا بَقِیَ مِنَ الصَّلاۃِ ، ثُمَّ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَیْنِ ، وَھُوَ جَالِسٌ بَعْدَ التَّسْلِیمَ۔
