أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَکْرُ بْنُ مُضَرَ عَنْ عَيَّاشِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ أَنَّ يَحْيَی بْنَ مَيْمُونٍ حَدَّثَهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَهْلًا السَّاعِدِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ کَانَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ يَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلَاةَ فَهُوَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 738
Sahl As-Sa’idi, may Allah be pleased with him, said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم i say: ‘Whoever is in the Masjid waiting for the prayer, he is in a state of prayer.” (Hasan)
