عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ: أَنَّ الْحَسَنَ وَالْحُسَیْنَ کَانَا یُصَلَّیَان خَلْفَ مَرْوَانَ قَالَ : فَقَالَ أَمَا کَانَ یُصَلِّیَان إِذَا رَجَعَا إِلَی مَنَا زِ لِھِمَا؟ فَقَالَ: لا وَاللہِ مَا کَانَا یَزِیدَانِ عَلَی صَلاۃِ الأَئِمَّۃِ۔ أَخْرَجَ الْحَدِیثَیْنِ مِنْ کِتَابِ الإِمَامَۃِ۔
مسند امام شافی · Hadith 298
On the authority of Ja`far ibn Muhammad: “Al-Hassan and Al-Husayn were praying behind Marwan,” he said: “Then he said:“ When he prays? ” He said: No, and God was not more than the prayers of the imams۔ Take the two hadiths out of the Imam’s book۔
