أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ حَسَّانَ بْنَ بِلَالٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَسْلَمَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُمْ کَانُوا يُصَلُّونَ مَعَ نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمَغْرِبَ ثُمَّ يَرْجِعُونَ إِلَی أَهَالِيهِمْ إِلَی أَقْصَی الْمَدِينَةِ يَرْمُونَ وَيُبْصِرُونَ مَوَاقِعَ سِهَامِهِمْ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 524
It was narrated from a man of Aslam, who was one of the Companions of the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم, that they used to pray Maghrib with the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم then they would go back to their families in the furthest part of Al-Madinah, shooting arrows and seeing where they landed.
