أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَکِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ سِمَاکٍ عَنْ عِکْرِمَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ بَعْضَ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اغْتَسَلَتْ مِنْ الْجَنَابَةِ فَتَوَضَّأَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِفَضْلِهَا فَذَکَرَتْ ذَلِکَ لَهُ فَقَالَ إِنَّ الْمَائَ لَا يُنَجِّسُهُ شَيْئٌ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 328
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that one of the wives of the Prophet performed Ghusl from Janabah, and the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم performed Wudu with her leftover water. She mentioned that to him and he said: “Water is not made impure by anything.” (Da`if)
