أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَقَ عَنْ نَاجِيَةَ بْنِ خُفَافٍ عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ قَالَ أَجْنَبْتُ وَأَنَا فِي الْإِبِلِ فَلَمْ أَجِدْ مَائً فَتَمَعَّکْتُ فِي التُّرَابِ تَمَعُّکَ الدَّابَّةِ فَأَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ بِذَلِکَ فَقَالَ إِنَّمَا کَانَ يَجْزِيکَ مِنْ ذَلِکَ التَّيَمُّمُ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 316
It was narrated that ‘Ammar bin Yasir said: “I became Junub while I was on a camel and I could not find any water, so I rolled in the dust like an animal. I came to the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم and told him about that, and he said: ‘Tayammum would have been sufficient for you.” (Sahih)
