أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ أَتَيْتُ عَلِيًّا أَنَا وَرَجُلَانِ فَقَالَ کَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ الْخَلَائِ فَيَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ وَيَأْکُلُ مَعَنَا اللَّحْمَ وَلَمْ يَکُنْ يَحْجُبُهُ عَنْ الْقُرْآنِ شَيْئٌ لَيْسَ الْجَنَابَةَ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 268
It was narrated that ‘Abdullah bin Salimah said: “I came to ‘Ali with two other men and he said: ‘The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم used to come Out of the toilet and recite Qur’an, and he would eat meat with us and nothing would prevent him from (reciting) Qur’an except Janabah.” (Hasan)
