سنن نسائی · Hadith 249

It was narrated that Abu Salamah bin ‘Abdur-Rahman said: “Aishah described how the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم performed Ghusl for Janabah. She said: ‘He used to wash his hands three times, then pour water with his right hand onto his left and wash his private part and whatever was on it.’ — (One of the narrators) ‘Umar said: “I think he said: ‘He would pour water with his right hand onto his left hand three times.” — “Then he would rinse his mouth three times and his nose three times, and wash his face and hands three times, then he would pour water over his head three times, then pour water over himself.” (Hasan)
