أَخْبَرَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ أَنْبَأَنَا النَّضْرُ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَطَائُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَی عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا فَسَأَلَهَا عَنْ غُسْلِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ الْجَنَابَةِ فَقَالَتْ کَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُؤْتَی بِالْإِنَائِ فَيَصُبُّ عَلَی يَدَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا فَيَغْسِلُهُمَا ثُمَّ يَصُبُّ بِيَمِينِهِ عَلَی شِمَالِهِ فَيَغْسِلُ مَا عَلَی فَخِذَيْهِ ثُمَّ يَغْسِلُ يَدَيْهِ وَيَتَمَضْمَضُ وَيَسْتَنْشِقُ وَيَصُبُّ عَلَی رَأْسِهِ ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ يُفِيضُ عَلَی سَائِرِ جَسَدِهِ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 248
Abu Salamah (narrated) that he entered upon ‘Aishah and asked her about the Ghusl of the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم from Janabah. She said: “A vessel would be brought to the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم then he would pour water on his hand three times and wash them, then he would pour water with his right hand onto his left and wash off whatever was on his thighs. Then he would wash his hands, rinse his mouth and nose, pour water on his head three times, then pour water over the rest of his body.” (Sahih)
