عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللہِ قَالَ: قَالَتْ عَائِشَۃُ رَضِیَ اللہُ عَنْھَا: أَنَا طَیَّبْتُ رَسُولَ اللہِ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ۔ قَالَ فِی کِتَابِ الإِمْلاءِ: لِحِلِّہِ وَلإِ حْرَامِہِ، قَالَ سَالِمٌ: وَسُنُّۃُ رَسُولِ اللہِ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ أَحَقُّ تُتَّبَعُ۔
مسند امام شافی · Hadith 1020
On the authority of Salem Bin Abd Allah, he said: Aisha, may God be pleased with her, said: I have been blessed with the Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him. He said in the dictation book: For solution and forbidden, Salem said: The Sunnah of the Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, is more deserving.
