أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ عَنْ مَالِکٍ عَنْ الْعَلَائِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَلَا أُخْبِرُکُمْ بِمَا يَمْحُو اللَّهُ بِهِ الْخَطَايَا وَيَرْفَعُ بِهِ الدَّرَجَاتِ إِسْبَاغُ الْوُضُوئِ عَلَی الْمَکَارِهِ وَکَثْرَةُ الْخُطَا إِلَی الْمَسَاجِدِ وَانْتِظَارُ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الصَّلَاةِ فَذَلِکُمْ الرِّبَاطُ فَذَلِکُمْ الرِّبَاطُ فَذَلِکُمْ الرِّبَاطُ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 145
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “Shall I not tell you of that by means of which Allah erases sins and raises (people) in status? Doing Wudu’ properly even when it is inconvenient, taking a lot of steps to the Masjid, and waiting for one Salah after another. That is the Ribat for you, that is the Ribat for you, that is the Ribat for you.” (Sahih)
