عَنْ زَاذَانَ، قَال: سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ عَلِیَّا رَضِیَ اللہُ عَنْہُ عَن، الْغُسْلُ الَّذِی ھُوَ الْغُسْلُ ؟ قَالَ: یَوْمَ الْجُمُعَۃِ ، وَیَوْمَ عَرَفَۃَ ، وَیَوْمَ النَّحْرِ ، وَیَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ۔ أَخْرَجَہُ مِنْ کِتَابِ اخْتِلافِ عَلِیَّ وَعَبْدِ اللہِ مِمَّا لَمْ یَسْمَعِ الرَّبِیعُ مِنَ الشَّافِعِیِّ۔
مسند امام شافی · Hadith 988
On the authority of Zadhan, he said: A man, may God be pleased with me, asked about the washing that is the washing? He said: The day of Friday, the day of custom, the day of ritual death, and the day of breaking fast. He brought out a book of a difference of opinion on me and the servant of God, which the Spring did not hear from the Shafi’i.
