عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَیْجٍ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِعَطَاء: ہَلْ رَأَیْتَ أَحَدًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللہِ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا اسْتَلَمُوا قَبَّلُوا أَیْدِیَھُمْ؟ فَقَالَ: نَعَمْ، رَأَیْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللہِ وَابْنَ عُمَرَ وَأَبَا سَعِیدٍ الْخُذرِیَّ وَأَبَاہُرَیْرَۃَ رَضِیَ اللہُ عَنْہُمْ إِذَااسْتَلَمُوا قَبَّلُوا أَیْدِیَہُمْ۔ قُلْتُ: وَابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: نَعَمْ۔ وَحَسِبْتُ کَثِیرًا۔ قُلْتُ: ھَلْ تَدَعُ أَنْتَ إِذَا اسْتَلَمْتَ أَنْ تُقَبِّلَ یَدَکَ؟ قَالَ : فَلَمْ أَسْتَلِمْہُ إِذَنْ۔
مسند امام شافی · Hadith 953
On the authority of Ibn Jarijj, he said: I said to give: Do you see any of the prophet's companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him if they ask? He said: Yes, I saw Jabir ibn Abd Allah, Ibn Omar and Abu Sa`id al-Khudhary and Abu Bakr, who was pleased with him before God ض I said: And Abbas's son said: Yes۔ And I counted a lot. I said: Do you not allow you to accept your hand when you receive it? He said: "So I did not receive permission."
