عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ أَبِی طَالِبٍ رَضِیَ اللہُ عَنْہُ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللہِ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَحَدُھُمَا: کَانَ إِذَا ابْتَدَأَ الصَّلاۃَ، وَقَالَ الآ خَرُ: کَانَ إِذَا افْتَتَحَ الصَّلاۃَ ، قَالَ: وَجَّھْتُ وَجْھِیَ لِلَّذِی فَطَرَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ حَنِیفًا ، وَمَا أَنَا مِنَ الْمُشْرِکِیْنَ، إِنَّ صَلاتِی وَنُسُکِی وَمَحْیَایَ وَمَمَاتِی للَّہِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِینَ ، لا شَرِیکَ لَہُ وَبِذَلِکَ أُمِرْتُ۔ قَالَ أَحَدُھُمَا : وَأَنَا أَوَّلُ الْمُسْلِمِینَ، وَقَالَ الآخَرُ: وَأَنَا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِینَ۔ قَالَ الشَّافِعِیُّ: ثُمَّ یَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ بِالتَّعَوُّذِ ثُمَّ بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِیمِ فَإِذَا أَتَی عَلَیْھَا قَالَ: آمِینَ ، وَیَقُولُ مِنْ خَلْفَہُ، إِنْ کَانَ إِمَامًا یَرْفَعُ صَوْتَہُ حَتَّی یَسْمَعَ مَنْ خَلْفَہُ إِذَا کَانَ مِمَّا یَجْھَرُ بِالْقِرَا ءَ ۃِ۔ أَخْرَجَ الأَوَّلَ مِنْ کِتَابِ اسْتِقْبَالِ الْقِبْلَۃِ وَالثَّانِیَ مِنْ کِتَابِ الأَمَالِی۔

Ali ibn Abi Talib Allہ Anہ: that the Messenger of Allہ peace Allہ Alیہ him Ohdھma said, was if he began Asalaۃ, said pa another: was if opened Asalaۃ, said: Jھt and Jھی to Him Who created the heavens and the earth, the upright, and what I Almusharکیn, my prayer My ritual life, my life, and my death are for God, Lord of the worlds, there is no partner for you, and accordingly I commanded.
