عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ ابْنِ عَازِبٍ، قَالَ:رَأَیْتُ رَسُولُ اللہُ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا افْتَتَحَ الصَّلاۃَ رَفَعَ یَدَیْہِ۔ قَالَ سُفْیَانُ:ثُمَّ قَدِمْتُ الْکُوفَۃَ فَلَقِیتُ یَزِیدَ، فَسَمِعْتۃُ یُحَدِّثُ ھَکَذَا بِھَا وَزَادَفِیہِ، ثُمَّ لا یَعُودُ فَظَنَنْتُ أَنْھُمْ۔قَالَ سُفْیَانُ: ھَکَذَا سَمِعْتُ یَزِیدَ یُحَدِّثُ بِہِ، ثُمَّ سَمِعْتُہُ یُحَدِّثُہْ ھَکَذَا وَیَزِیدُ فِیہِ، ثُمَّ لا یَعُودُ۔ قَالَ:قَالَ الشَّافِعِیُّ:وَذَھَبَ سُفْیَانُ إِلَی أَنْ یَغْلَطَ یَزِیدُ فِی ھَذَاالْحَدِیثِ، وَیَقُولُ:کَانَّہُ لُقِّنَ ھَذَا الْحَرْفَ الأٓخَرَ، فَلُقِنُہُ وَلَمْ یَکُنْ سُفْیَانُ یَرَی یَزِیدَ بِالْحِفْظِ کَذَلِکَ۔أَخْرَجَ الأَوَّلَ مِنْ کِتَابِ اسْتِقْبَالِ الْقِبْلَۃِ وَإِلَی آخِرَ الرَّابِعِ فِی کِتِابِ اخْتِلافِ مَالِکِ وَالشَّافِعِیّ وَإِلَی آخِرِ السَّابِعِ مِنَ الْجُزْءِ الثَّانِی مِنَ اخْتِلافِ الْحَدِیثِ
