عَنْ عَبْدِاللہِ، قَالَ:کُنَّا نُسَلِّمُ عَلَی النَّبِیُّ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ وَھُوَفِی الصَّلاۃِ قَبْلَ أَنْ نَأتِیَ أَرْضَ الْحَبَشَۃِ فَیَرُدُّ عَلَیْنَا وَھُوَ فِی الصَّلاۃِ فَلَمَّا رَجَعْنَا مِنْ أَرْضِ الْحَبَشَۃِ أَتَیْتُہُ لأُسَلِّمَ عَلَیْہِ، فَوَجَدْتُہُ یُصَلِّی، فَسَلَّمْتُ عَلَیْہِ، فَلَمْ یَرُدَّ عَلَیَّ، فأَخَذَنِی مَاقَرُبَ وَمَابَعُدَ، فَجَلَسْتُ حَتَّی إِذَا قَضَی صَلاتَہُ أَتَیْتُۃُ،فَقَالَ:((إنَّ اللہَ عَزَّوَجَلَّ ثَنَاؤُ یُحْدِثُ مِنْ أَمْرِہِ مَاشَاءَ، وَإِنَّ مِمَّا أَحْدَثَ اللہُ عَزَّوَجَلَّ أَنْ لا تَکَلَّمُوا فِی الصَّلاۃِ))۔أَخْرَجَ الأَوَلَ مِنْ کِتَابِ الأَمَالِی، وَالثَّانِیَ مِنَ الْجُزْءِ الثَّانِی مِنَ اخْتِلافِ الْحَدِیثِ
