عَنْ أُبَیِّ بْنِ کَعْبٍ، وَوَقَفَہُ بَعْضُھُمْ عَلَی سَھْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ:کَانَ الْمَاءُ مِنَ الْمَاءِ شَیْئًا فِی الإِسْلامِ، ثُمَّ تُرِکَ ذَلِکَ بَعْدُ، وَأُمِرُوا بِالْغُسْلِ إِذِامَسَّ الْخِتَانُ الْخِتَانَ۔أَخْرَجَ الثَّلاثَۃَ الأَحَادِیثَ مِنْ کِتَابِ اخْتِلافِ الْحَدِیثِ۔
