عَنِ ابْنِ شِھَابٍ: أَنَّ رَسُولُ اللہِ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَرَجُلا ضَحِکَ فِی الصَّلاۃِ أَنْ یُعِیدَ الْوُضُو ءَ وَالصَّلاۃَ ۔ فَلَمْ نَقْبَلْ ھَذََا ؛ لأَ نَّہُ مُرْسَل’‘۔
مسند امام شافی · Hadith 70
On the authority of Ibn Shihab: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, asked a man to laugh at prayer, to restore ablution and prayer۔ We did not accept this, because we are sent. ''
