عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللہِ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ ( ( إِذَا أَفْضَی أَحَدُکُمْ بِیَدِہ ِإِلَی ذَکَرِہِ فَلْیَتَوَضَّأْ))۔ وَازَادَ ابْنُ نَافِعِ ، فَقَال َ: عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ رَضِیَ اللہُ عَنْہُ ، عَنِ النَّبِیِّ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَہُ ۔ قَالَ الشَّافِعِیُّ رَضِیَ اللہُ عَنْہُ : سَمِعْتُ غَیْرَ وَاحِدٍ مِنَ الْحُفَّاظِ یَرْوُونَہُ لا یَذْکُرُونَ فِیہِ جَابِرًا۔
مسند امام شافی · Hadith 59
On the authority of Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman al-Bin Thauban, he said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: (So if one does) Ibn Nafi 'increased, and he said: From Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Thauban, on the authority of Jabir Radhi, may God be upon him, on the authority of the Prophet, Al-Shafi’i, may God be pleased with him, said: I heard only one of the hafiz, they see, they do not remember in Jabira۔
