حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَی عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَتَبَ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ إِلَی کِسْرَی وَإِلَی قَيْصَرَ وَإِلَی النَّجَاشِيِّ وَإِلَی کُلِّ جَبَّارٍ يَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَی اللَّهِ وَلَيْسَ بِالنَّجَاشِيِّ الَّذِي صَلَّی عَلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَی هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ
جامع ترمذی · Hadith 2716
Narrated Anas bin Malik: Before he died, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) had written to Kisra, Ceasar, An-Najashi, and to every tyrant calling them to Allah. This An-Najashi is not the one that the Prophet (ﷺ) performed to the funeral Salat for.
