حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يُونُسَ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُهَيْلُ بْنُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنَعَتْ الْعِرَاقُ قَفِيزَهَا وَدِرْهَمَهَا وَمَنَعَتْ الشَّامُ مُدْيَهَا وَدِينَارَهَا وَمَنَعَتْ مِصْرُ إِرْدَبَّهَا وَدِينَارَهَا ثُمَّ عُدْتُمْ مِنْ حَيْثُ بَدَأْتُمْ قَالَهَا زُهَيْرٌ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ شَهِدَ عَلَی ذَلِکَ لَحْمُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَدَمُهُ
سنن ابودوٗد · Hadith 3035
Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying “Irqa will prevent its measure (qafiz) and dirham. Syria will prevent its measure (mudi) and dinar. Egypt will prevent its measure (ardabb) and dinar. Then you will return to the position where you started. Zubair said this three times. The flesh and blood of Abu Hurairah witnessed to it.
