أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَطَائِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا تَسْتَقْبِلُوا الْقِبْلَةَ وَلَا تَسْتَدْبِرُوهَا لِغَائِطٍ أَوْ بَوْلٍ وَلَکِنْ شَرِّقُوا أَوْ غَرِّبُوا
سنن نسائی · Hadith 21
It was narrated from Abu Ayyub that the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “Do not face toward the Qiblah nor turn your backs toward it when defecating or urinating, rather face toward the east or the west.” (Sahih)
