حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ أَنَّ ابْنَ حَرْشَفٍ الْأَزْدِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ مَوْلَی عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ کُنَّا نَأْکُلُ الْجَزَرَ فِي الْغَزْوِ وَلَا نَقْسِمُهُ حَتَّی إِنْ کُنَّا لَنَرْجِعُ إِلَی رِحَالِنَا وَأَخْرِجَتُنَا مِنْهُ مُمْلَأَةٌ

Narrated One of the Companion: Al-Qasim, the client of Abdur Rahman, quoted one of the Companion of the Prophet ﷺ as saying: We would eat a camel on an expedition without dividing it, and when we returned to our dwellings our saddle-bags would be full with its flesh.
