حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَی حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً سَأَلَتْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ تَخْتَضِبُ الْحَائِضُ فَقَالَتْ قَدْ کُنَّا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَنَحْنُ نَخْتَضِبُ فَلَمْ يَکُنْ يَنْهَانَا عَنْهُ

It was narrated from Mu’âdh that a woman asked ‘Aishah “Can a woman who is menstruating, dye her hands?” She said: “We were with the Prophet and we used to dye our hands, and he did not tell us not to do that.” (Sahih)
