حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا زَکَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ قَالَ قَالَ مَنْصُورٌ حَدَّثَنَا مُجَاهِدٌ عَنْ الْحَکَمِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ الثَّقَفِيِّ أَنَّهُ رَأَی رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَوَضَّأَ ثُمَّ أَخَذَ کَفًّا مِنْ مَائٍ فَنَضَحَ بِهِ فَرْجَهُ

It was narrated from Hakam bin Sufyan Ath-Thaqafi that he saw the Messenger of Allah perform ablution then take a handful of water and sprinkle it over his private area to remove any doubts about urine drippings.
