حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ يَعْنِي أَبَا بَکْرٍ الْحَنَفِيَّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْهِرَّةُ لَا تَقْطَعُ الصَّلَاةَ لِأَنَّهَا مِنْ مَتَاعِ الْبَيْتِ

. It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah said: "Cats do not invalidate the prayer, because they are one of the things that are useful in the house."
