حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ مُوسَی الْفَزَارِيُّ ابْنُ بِنْتِ السُّدِّيِّ الْکُوفِيِّ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ شَاکِرٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْتِي عَلَی النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ الصَّابِرُ فِيهِمْ عَلَی دِينِهِ کَالْقَابِضِ عَلَی الْجَمْرِ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَی هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ وَعُمَرُ بْنُ شَاکِرٍ شَيْخٌ بَصْرِيٌّ قَدْ رَوَی عَنْهُ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ
جامع ترمذی · Hadith 2260
Anas bin Malik narrated that the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) said: There shall come upon the people a time in which the one who is patient upon his religion will be like the one holding onto a burning ember.
