حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ الْعَسْقَلَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا رَوَّادُ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ ذَکْوَانَ عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ نُسَيٍّ عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ أَخْوَفَ مَا أَتَخَوَّفُ عَلَی أُمَّتِي الْإِشْرَاکُ بِاللَّهِ أَمَا إِنِّي لَسْتُ أَقُولُ يَعْبُدُونَ شَمْسًا وَلَا قَمَرًا وَلَا وَثَنًا وَلَکِنْ أَعْمَالًا لِغَيْرِ اللَّهِ وَشَهْوَةً خَفِيَّةً
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 4205
It was narrated from Shaddad bin Aws that the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: "The thing that I fear most for my nation is associating others with I do not say that they will worhip the sun or the moon or idols, but deeds done for th e sake of anyone other than Allah , and hidden desires." (Daif)
