حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْخَلَّالُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنْبَأَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا کَانَ الْفُحْشُ فِي شَيْئٍ قَطُّ إِلَّا شَانَهُ وَلَا کَانَ الْحَيَائُ فِي شَيْئٍ قَطُّ إِلَّا زَانَهُ
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 4185
It was narrated from Anas that the Maessenger of AIIah (P.B.U.H) said: There is never any obscenity in a thing, but it mars it, and there is never any modesty in a thing , but it adoms it." (Sahih)
