حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ عَنْ مَالِکِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنْ سُمَيٍّ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ بَيْنَمَا رَجُلٌ يَمْشِي فِي طَرِيقٍ إِذْ وَجَدَ غُصْنَ شَوْکٍ فَأَخَّرَهُ فَشَکَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ فَغَفَرَ لَهُ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ أَبِي بَرْزَةَ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَأَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَی هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah said : When a man was walking on the road, he found a thorny branch and removed it. Allah appreciated his action by forgiving him.
