حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْأَزْهَرِ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ بَهْرَامَ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّی يَشْهَدُوا أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَيُقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُوا الزَّکَاةَ
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 72
It was narrated that Mu’dh bin Jabal said: The Messenger of Allah s.a.w.w said: ‘I have been commanded to fight the people until they testify to La ilãha la—Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah) and that I am the Messenger of Allah, and they establish regular prayer and pay Zakat.” (Sahih)
