حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ عَنْ زَرْبِيٍّ قَال سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِکٍ يَقُولُ جَائَ شَيْخٌ يُرِيدُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَبْطَأَ الْقَوْمُ عَنْهُ أَنْ يُوَسِّعُوا لَهُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا وَيُوَقِّرْ کَبِيرَنَا قَالَ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَأَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَی هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ وَزَرْبِيٌّ لَهُ أَحَادِيثُ مَنَاکِيرُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ وَغَيْرِهِ
جامع ترمذی · Hadith 1919
Anas bin Malik narrated that: An older man came to talk to the Prophet, and the people were hesitant to make room for him. The Prophet said: ;He is not one of us who does not have mercy on our young and does not respect our elders.
