حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَقَ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ الصَّاغَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْمَدَائِنِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ بَاتَ وَفِي يَدِهِ رِيحُ غَمَرٍ فَأَصَابَهُ شَيْئٌ فَلَا يَلُومَنَّ إِلَّا نَفْسَهُ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَی هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ لَا نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ الْأَعْمَشِ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ
جامع ترمذی · Hadith 1860
Narrated Abu Hurairah: That the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Whoever spends the night with [a smell] on his hand and something happens to him, then let him not blame anyone but himself. [Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Gharib, we do not know of it as a narration of Al-'Amash except through this route.
