حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ الْمِصْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ أَبِي هَانِئٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَالِکٍ الْجَنْبِيِّ أَنَّ فَضَالَةَ بْنَ عُبَيْدٍ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْمُؤْمِنُ مَنْ أَمِنَهُ النَّاسُ عَلَی أَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنْفُسِهِمْ وَالْمُهَاجِرُ مَنْ هَجَرَ الْخَطَايَا وَالذُّنُوبَ
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 3934
Fadâlah bin ‘Ubaid narrated that the Prophet P.B.U.H said: “The believer is the one from whom theft (people’s) wealth and lives are safe, and the Muhajir is the one who forsakes mistakes and sins.” (Hasan)
