حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ ذَرِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْهَمْدَانِيِّ عَنْ يُسَيْعٍ الْکِنْدِيِّ عَنْ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ الدُّعَائَ هُوَ الْعِبَادَةُ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ وَقَالَ رَبُّکُمْ ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَکُمْ
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 3828
It Was narrated from Numan bin Bashir that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said,: “Indeed the supplication is the worship, " Then he recited: "And your Lord said: Invoke Me, I will respond to you," (Sahih)
