حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ عَنْ يَحْيَی بْنِ أَبِي کَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَائِ قَالَ قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْکَ بِسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَکْبَرُ فَإِنَّهَا يَعْنِي يَحْطُطْنَ الْخَطَايَا کَمَا تَحُطُّ الشَّجَرَةُ وَرَقَهَا
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 3813
It was narrated that Abu Darda' said: "The Messenger of Allah(saw), said to me: 'You should recite Subhan·Allah, wal-Hamdu- Lillah, wa Ia ilaha illallah, wa Allah Akbar (GIory is to Allah, none has the right to be worshiped but Allah, and Allah is Most Great), for it sheds sins a tree sheds its leaves.'''(Da'if)
