حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ عَنْ بَشِيرِ بْنِ مُهَاجِرٍ عَنْ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَجِيئُ الْقُرْآنُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ کَالرَّجُلِ الشَّاحِبِ فَيَقُولُ أَنَا الَّذِي أَسْهَرْتُ لَيْلَکَ وَأَظْمَأْتُ نَهَارَکَ
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 3781
It was narrated from Ibn Buraidah that his father told that the Messenger of Allah(saw) said: "The Qur'an will come on the Day of Resurrection, like a pale man, and will say: 'I am the one that kept you awake at night and made you thirsty during the day.''' (Hasan)
