حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ الْعَلَائِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِأَبِي سَعِيدٍ هَلْ سَمِعْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَيْئًا فِي الْإِزَارِ قَالَ نَعَمْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِزْرَةُ الْمُؤْمِنِ إِلَی أَنْصَافِ سَاقَيْهِ لَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِ مَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْکَعْبَيْنِ وَمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنْ الْکَعْبَيْنِ فِي النَّارِ يَقُولُ ثَلَاثًا لَا يَنْظُرُ اللَّهُ إِلَی مَنْ جَرَّ إِزَارَهُ بَطَرًا
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 3573
It was narrated from ‘Ala’ ‘Abdur-Rahmân that his Lther said: “I said to Abu Sa’eed: Did you hear anything from the Messenger of Allah concerning lower wrap?’ He said: ‘Yes. I heard the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H, The lower wrap of the chould come to mid-calf,but there is no sin on him if it veen that point and the whatever is lower than ankle is in the Fire.’ And he said three times : ‘Allah will not look at the one who lets his lower wrap drag out of vanity.” (Sahili)
