حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَی عَنْ شَيْبَانَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ لِي يَا بُنَيَّ لَوْ شَهِدْتَنَا وَنَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْنَا السَّمَائُ لَحَسِبْتَ أَنَّ رِيحَنَا رِيحُ الضَّأْنِ

It was narrated from Abu Burdah that his father said to him: “0 my son, if only you could have seen us when we were with the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H, when rain fell on us; you would have thought that we smelled like sheep.” (Da’if)
