حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ الْأَشْهَلِيُّ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ عِکْرِمَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ يُعَلِّمُهُمْ مِنْ الْحُمَّی وَمِنْ الْأَوْجَاعِ کُلِّهَا أَنْ يَقُولُوا بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الْکَبِيرِ أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ مِنْ شَرِّ عِرْقٍ نَعَّارٍ وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَرِّ النَّارِ قَالَ أَبُو عَامِرٍ أَنَا أُخَالِفُ النَّاسَ فِي هَذَا أَقُولُ يَعَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْکٍ أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْمَعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبَةَ الْأَشْهَلِيُّ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ عَنْ عِکْرِمَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَهُ وَقَالَ مِنْ شَرِّ عِرْقٍ يَعَّارٍ
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 3526
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that, for fever and all kinds of pain, the Prophet P.B.U.H used to teach them to say: (In the Name of Allah the Great, I seek refuge with Allah the Almighty from the evil of a vein gushing (with blood) and the evil of the heat of the Fire." (Da'if) (One of the narrators) Abu 'Ammar said: "I dilfered with the people on this, I said: Screaming." Another chain from Ibn 'Abbas, from the Prophet with similar, wording and he said: "From the evil of a vein screaming (with blood)."
