حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ عَبَّادٍ عَنْ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ کَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنْ عَيْنِ الْجَانِّ ثُمَّ أَعْيُنِ الْإِنْسِ فَلَمَّا نَزَلَتْ الْمُعَوِّذَتَانِ أَخَذَهُمَا وَتَرَکَ مَا سِوَی ذَلِکَ

ابن ماجہ · Hadith 3511

It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed said: "The Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H used to seek refuge from the evil eye of the jinn and ofmankind. When the Mu'awwidhatain were revealed, he started to recite them and stopped reciting anything else." (Da'if)
