حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَرِيفٍ حَدَّثَنَا وَکِيعٌ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَقَطَ عَنْ فَرَسِهِ عَلَی جِذْعٍ فَانْفَکَّتْ قَدَمُهُ قَالَ وَکِيعٌ يَعْنِي أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ احْتَجَمَ عَلَيْهَا مِنْ وَثْئ

ابن ماجہ · Hadith 3485

It was narrated from Jabir that the Prophet P.B.U.H fell from His horse onto the trunk of a palm tree and dislocated his foot. (One of the narrators) Waki’ said: Meaning that the Prophet P.B.U.H was cupped because of that for bruising.” (Sahih)
