حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ إِسْمَعِيلَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ عَادَ مَرِيضًا وَمَعَهُ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ مِنْ وَعْکٍ کَانَ بِهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَبْشِرْ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَقُولُ هِيَ نَارِي أُسَلِّطُهَا عَلَی عَبْدِي الْمُؤْمِنِ فِي الدُّنْيَا لِتَکُونَ حَظَّهُ مِنْ النَّارِ فِي الْآخِرَةِ
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 3470
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet visited a sick person, due to an illness that he was suffering from and Abu Hurairah was with him. The Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: "Be of good cheer, for Allah says: 'It is My fire which I have caused to overwhelm My believing slave in this world, to be his share of the Fire in the Hereafter." (Hasan)
