حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُنِيرُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُبَادَةَ بْنَ نُسَيٍّ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ خَبَّابَ بْنَ الْأَرَتِّ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِيَّاکَ وَالْخَمْرَ فَإِنَّ خَطِيئَتَهَا تَفْرَعُ الْخَطَايَا کَمَا أَنَّ شَجَرَتَهَا تَفْرَعُ الشَّجَرَ
ابن ماجہ · Hadith 3372
‘Ubâdah bin Sâmit said: “I heard Khabbâb bin narrating that the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: ‘Beware of wine! For its sins overwhelm other sins, Just as the grapevine overwhelms other trees” (Da`if)
