حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَی الْبَصْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا الْفُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ وَأَبُو الطُّفَيْلِ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِمَکَّةَ مَا أَطْيَبَکِ مِنْ بَلَدٍ وَأَحَبَّکِ إِلَيَّ وَلَوْلَا أَنَّ قَوْمِي أَخْرَجُونِي مِنْکِ مَا سَکَنْتُ غَيْرَکِ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَی هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ
جامع ترمذی · Hadith 3926
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said about Makkah: How sweet of a land you are and how dear you are to me, and if it were not that my people expelled me from you, I would not have lived in other than you.
